Our vision for nature-positive future for Bangladesh

For foodproduction in the coastal areas there is going to be more off food production near and in the mangrove forest in the form off the FFF-model and mangrove plantations. In the hilly areas there is going to be more agroforestry commons in form of village common forests and keyline farming. For the floodplains there is going to be more of floating gardens an way of soil-less farming. For more nature more mangrove forests, more space for the river and vegetation, more forests in form of village common forests in the hilly areas and Wetland conservation. Roads transport and energy are all nature inclusive and be part of the balane with submersible roads more boats and alternative energy in form of wave energy. Cities become more circular as well as the driving force of the economy is maintain the intergenerational equity of the natural resources

Our choices for a specific region

We choose the chittagong area for the indigenous communities being that much present in the area. They have existing indigenous practices and organizations in restoring springshed management. As well as their spiritual connection towards natural resources as an intergenerational equity and this belief and knowledge passed on to different groups. Hilly areas have already existing potential with springshed management that doesn't need to much intervention actually more of conserving forest and reforestation. Cox's bazar is known for it is largest beach in the world as well as in general chittagong is known by different tourists to recreate here
