About the team
We are a multidisciplinary team from Brazil, formed by five people from Computer Science, Geology, Architecture, and Agricultural Engineering, spanning undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels. Inspired by John McPhee’s reflection in The Control of Nature that our interventions in nature are always provisional, and guided by the knowledge and stewardship of First Nations, we approach the NBF Challenge with humility—blending science, design, and care to co-create thoughtful and resilient nature-based solutions.
